About DPT

Community

DPT supports multiple programs each year in the communities we serve, ranging from Juvenile Diabetes, The American Heart Association, United Way, The National Kidney Foundation, and Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, to public television and the arts.

In addition, numerous DPT employees are leaders in their communities serving on boards that promote health, youth programs, and the arts.

Giving Guidelines

Requests are granted on a calendar-year basis, and our review of charitable contributions for each year begins in September of the previous year. Most charitable funding is for the areas in which DPT has a facility, namely, San Antonio, Texas, or Lakewood, New Jersey, but special requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Preference is given to programs in the areas of healthcare, youth and the arts.

Please submit all requests in writing to:

DPT Laboratories, Ltd.
Attn: Tammy Ramos
318 McCullough
San Antonio, TX 78215

The letter should include:

  • Project description
  • Specific funding request and budget
  • Explanation of what will be accomplished and who will benefit
  • Evaluation of how results will be measured and sustained
  • 501(c)(3) tax-exempt number or copy of tax-exempt status letter
